Pray for your local church and the local churches in Slavic countries. Ask the Lord to increase the spiritual life of each member of the church. Ask Him to assist your church in the area where you live to seek souls with salvation from sin. And may this assistance extend throughout the whole world. Pray for your pastor and leadership, as well as the pastors and leadership in the Slavic world. Pray for peace in the world. Ask God to restrain evil through the Holy Spirit in order that His Word may have free course in every country. |
How important it is to pray after awaking to meet the new day! Start the morning for a few minutes simply concentrating on the glory, goodness and greatness of God. Pray briefly using simple words of thanksgiving. Ask to see God’s presence, protection and power during this new day that He has graciously given.
Intercede for compassion and courage to be received for any one-on-one opportunities to encourage or for an open door of witness to evangelize. Then, thank the Lord for listening. Before beginning your duties or departing from home (or starting work remotely), read a few passages from God’s Word. Now, begin the day striving to accomplish God’s will and God’s way.
During the day whether working, learning, relaxing or traveling, briefly focus on God’s presence. The more this is done, the nearer God will become. Spend a few intervals of time thanking God for daily strength and sustenance, as well as blessings of happiness, health and holiness. If there is sadness, struggles or suffering, thank God for sufficient grace to endure.
Always express willingness to accept God’s will when events transpire. Be ready to take what God gives. Practice putting everything, whether great or small, into God’s powerful hands. Ask for the ability to do the best confidently before God, and accept the consequences in every circumstance. Be consistent in attitude and actions, as tasks are contemplated and completed. Thank God for assisting when obligations and responsibilities are accomplished. Sometime during the day or evening, most definitely, spend time with God in His Word. Remember, as you run the race, give Jesus first place.
Finally, finish the day with a prayer of gratitude for growing faith and genuine fellowship with the Godhead Three – Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Thank God for providing His abundant grace and mercy in every situation experienced. And if God wills, be prepared to live another day for His glory with loyal duty and loving devotion. Every day, don’t forget to pray!

The Savior expects those who have tasted the sweetness of salvation to spread the news far and wide. He has commissioned His children to share His Word to the lost in every country. |
