SMS MINISTRIES
CHURCH PLANTING Congregations are being established and church buildings are being constructed in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Moldava, thanks to the efforts of SMS. With God’s help we do all we can helping these “New churches be established in the faith and grow in number” (Acts 16:5).
MEDIA For over six decades, SMS has been broadcasting the Gospel in the Russian language, strengthening the believers in the faith and those seeking the path toward God. Well known preachers proclaim and demonstrate the inspirational life giving Word of God. The best of these broadcasts today are available through our internet radio.
LITERATURE In the center of SMS publication projects is the Word of God, for there is nothing better… “For doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness” (II Tim. 3:16). Among our publications are books by Christian authors, and children’s and Christian living literature in Slavic languages.
CHILDREN'S MINISTRY Smiles, not often seen on many children resting on the soil of the former Soviet Union, CAN be seen on the faces of children involved in our camping ministry overseas. This Christian love helps the children there become “heirs of God” (Rom. 8:17).
HUMANITARIAN AID As good Samaritans, SMS workers in the former USSR republics rush to help those who find themselves in difficult situations. To the families who lost their sea-men sons/fathers/husbands on the Russian submarine, “Kursk,” and to those in prison or who are homeless or hospitalized, our workers reach out with the love of Christ.
