Pray daily for pastors in the Slavic countries (as well as your own) that they will have wisdom and power from God to preach the Word effectually and to care for all of the saints. Pray that the convicting power of the Holy Spirit will accompany the preaching of God’s Word throughout all lands. Ask God to stir up Christians to use their God-given freedom to the fullest advantage in making known everywhere the Gospel of Jesus Christ. “Freely ye have received, freely give” (Matthew 10:8). |
Transfer of religious documentation for the church building and property is now in progress. Once the registration of the new site as religious territory is finished, the former House of Prayer can be sold. Those funds will then be used to renovate the second floor of the new building. Those renovations include a large youth room and some Sunday school classrooms, as well as second floor rest rooms. The windows also must be replaced.
Pastor Pogarzhelski and the church congregation rejoice that they can now worship and serve the Lord Jesus Christ in a larger and more convenient location. With more space the church has started a children’s club called “Future,” which is similar to Awana Clubs. They are now preparing for their summer camping program.
If anyone would desire to assist the church in their building project or church programs, please send the donation to Slavic Missionary Service, PO Box 469, Annandale, NJ 08801 or click the donate button and designate your contribution for the Slonim Bible Church.
