Take it or leave it. There is no other alternative. Christianity is not complicated. Either God has spoken or He has not. If He has, that settles it. Either we have salvation through the voluntary sacrifice of Jesus Christ or we have no salvation at all. The Gospel is good news. Take it and be saved, or leave it and be lost. Eternal life or eternal judgment: the choice is yours. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God" (John 3:16, 18). |
In May 2017, Rob Zapotoski, SMS Interim Director, had a wonderful opportunity to prepare a group of new “young” workers in Borislav, Ukraine, who will assist the summer camp program in the month of July. Seminars dealing with Bible Topics, Personal Accountability to God, Correction and Supervision, and Outdoor Camp Activities were presented to the team.
Each participant will be responsible for a certain age group and must be ready to lead, as well as guide, his or her group in all activities. The counselors must also be prepared to share the “Good News” of salvation to their campers during devotions and quiet times before bed.
Over 100 campers will attend camp for one week, and many of them will experience a “Christian” camp for the very first time. Pray that the counselors and volunteers will be good examples before the campers and that many children will desire to learn about God and the Christian way of life.

This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.

Through prayer, missionaries are sent out to the field (Matthew 9:37-38) and enabled to speak with boldness and power (Acts 4:29-31). Through prayer, doors are opened to preaching (Colossians 4:3); the Word of the Lord has free course (2 Thessalonians 3:1), and men hear the Gospel (1 Timothy 2:1-4). Through prayer, believers are strengthened (Ephesians 3:14-19; Colossians 1:9-12) and needs are supplied (Philippians 4:19). Through prayer, mighty works are accomplished (John 14:12-13). How important it is to pray! |
