Consider the eternal value of your earthly possessions. By remembering Slavic Missionary Service in your Will, you can abound in the grace of giving. Savings diminish and possessions decay, but the rewards which God bestow are eternal.
W — Wait upon God for guidance to show how best to invest the money that will be left behind after your departure. “For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out” (1 Timothy 6:7).
I — Include the work of the Lord Jesus in your will. This action will continue to sow the seeds of the Gospel in many hearts. “He which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully” (2 Corinthians 9:6).
L — Look to God to consider if a certain organization should be included in your Will. Gifts entrusted to an effective mission are carefully invested in such vital areas as church planting, missionary support, evangelical outreaches and Biblical literature. “Now He that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness” (2 Corinthians 9:10).
L — Leave this earth knowing that your assets will bear abundant fruit for the Lord’s glory. Your Will, by the grace of God, can continue to supply resources for God’s servants here in the states and overseas. “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6-7).
When you depart to be with the Lord, leave no doubt where you wish your money to work for God. Your bequests to Slavic Missionary Service will continue to win souls for Christ, to instruct and equip new leaders for God’s service, and assist missionaries in their spiritual endeavors. “Honor the Lord with thy substance and with the first fruits of all thine increase” (Proverbs 3:9).
