God wants all believers to know His will in their daily lives. Pray especially for young people who are seeking God's plan for their lives. May they be "strong in the Lord and in the power of His might" (Ephesians 6:10). As they seek to serve the Lord in different vocations, pray that they will "put on the whole armor of God" and that they "may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil" (Ephesians 6:11). |

One such way to reach communities for Christ is seen in Western Ukraine. During the summer, the churches in such cities as Borislav, Lutsk and Rozhishche have conducted a “Family Day” to help their communities see Christians in a casual setting. In a park or at the central square of the city, activities are designed for all age groups during a designated Saturday.
Games are organized for the children, and there is a worship team who shares Christian songs and testimonies to the crowd. Also, booths and tables are set up with different types of refreshments, craft projects and spiritual literature. There are even contests and competition for various ages.
The goal is to show the community that Christians do not belong to a sect or secret society. They are people who live according to godly principles found in the Bible and love the Lord Jesus Christ with all their hearts, minds, souls and strength. Friendly “bridges” are built in order to lead people to a better understanding of Christianity. Invitations are then offered to attend small Bible study groups or special events at the church.
Pray that God will help the missionaries of SMS (and others) to build these vital bridges in order that people may see the genuine love of God and understand the urgent need of repentance. “Pray for us, for we are sure that we have a good conscience desiring to conduct ourselves honorably in all things” (Hebrews 13:18).
