The command of Jesus Christ to the Christian is to make disciples! Converts to Christianity must be taught to practice the principles of Christianity. The Apostle Paul never left his converts without continued care. "And when they had preached the gospel to that city, and had made many disciples, they returned to Lystra, and to Iconium, and to Antioch, confirming the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that through many tribulations we must enter the kingdom of God" (Acts 14:21-22).

Amidst all his activities, preaching the Gospel, planting churches, penning epistles, practicing the precepts of Christ, Paul worked with a small group of men who were his particular disciples. These men included Timothy, Titus, Silas, Aristarchus, Epaphras, Epaphroditus and Luke to mention just a few. He shared his inner faith, his future goals and his genuine concerns with these men. "And the things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, these entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also" (2 Timothy 2:2).

Slavic Missionary Service is honored to have dedicated and determined missionaries just like Paul and his companions. Following the Biblical model, they have not only established churches but also have educated others to do the same. They are reaching people in hospitals, schools and prisons. They are conducting home Bible studies, seminars and conferences. Most of all, they are sharing their faith in Jesus Christ face to face with many others. Pray that God will continue to assist them with the power of the Holy Spirit to declare the Gospel to those people who have not heard and to disciple those people who have heard and accepted the Good News.
