God wants all believers to know His will in their daily lives. Pray especially for young people who are seeking God's plan for their lives. May they be "strong in the Lord and in the power of His might" (Ephesians 6:10). As they seek to serve the Lord in different vocations, pray that they will "put on the whole armor of God" and that they "may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil" (Ephesians 6:11). |
The fall youth conference of the Russian-Ukrainian Evangelical Baptist Union (RUEBU) was held on October 21-23 at the Evangelical Christian Center in Ashford, CT. The theme concentrated on the topic of “Missions” with an emphasis on being sent.
Rob Zapotoski, the Interim Director of Slavic Missionary Service, was one of the speakers. He was also invited to share about the foreign outreaches of SMS. Approximately 70 young people and young couples attended this autumn event.
Every Christian is a missionary. “You shall be My witnesses” (Acts 1:8). Thank God for the freedom that Christians possess in the United States to serve the Savior and share His Word to anyone who desires to hear. And thank Him for those Christians who answer the call to cross the oceans and proclaim the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ in foreign lands.
Praise Him for every opportunity which He ordains for you to witness about His grace and goodness. Ask Him for wisdom and power so that you might always be “ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you” (1 Peter 3:15).

With a heart of compassion, pray for the salvation of souls on each of the continents of the world. Pray that the Gospel of Jesus Christ will spread to the seven billion people throughout the world. "The Lord… is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9). Ask God to strengthen you to be a witness for Him wherever you are and in whatever you do! |
