Dear Friend in Christ,

This has been one of my life verses from as long as I can remember. It is a verse that centers me, reminding me that no matter what my circumstances are, if I take time to rejoice and understand that God is in control, I can overcome any adversity with His strength. There are many times when it is easy to rejoice, and each month when I pen these letters, it is rejoicing time! I hope you know, that your love, prayer, and financial support are cause for joy and thankfulness here at the SMS office!

It is hard to believe that this month I will be celebrating my 90th birthday! Another reason to rejoice, that God has given me health and a purpose for living even as I am "Nearing Home!"

Rejoice with us as well for the great success of the English classes that took place overseas under the leadership of Leon Chechowich and Rob Zapotoski. The classes proved to be an incredible opportunity to introduce hundreds of students to the hope we have in Christ! We will share more with you once we have more reports from the field.

May the Lord continue to bless you for your faithfulness in helping to reach a needy world with the Gospel of Christ! As the late Dr. Cook used to say, "Walk with the King today, and be a blessing!
