The ministry of the Rehabilitation Center, organized and operated by the Revival Baptist Church, has been transforming lives in Zhigulovsk, Russia and its surrounding areas. Alexander Kudrin (SMS missionary) has reported that the results of the ministry are clearly seen in those new members within his church. In the month of August, two men that have been saved from lives of drug addiction were baptized with six other candidates. Their heartfelt testimonies of God's forgiveness resonated with all those who attended the baptismal service.

In 2009 a property was purchased in a small town near Zhigulevsk in order to work with those fully interested in recovery. Reconstruction on this new rehabilitation center was completed one year later by the men who would benefit from its resources. Insulation was installed in 2010, and many renovations were conducted in 2011. Now, the men are constructing a new structure for the swine, which they are raising both for consumption and for income.

At this time, ten men are benefitting from this ministry. But expansion is necessary, as more participants seek to overcome addictions and find deliverance physically, as well as spiritually. Therefore, a new brick building needs to be constructed in order to accommodate the increase of interested individuals.

Pastor Kudrin and the church give thanks to the Lord that this ministry is producing genuine believers in Christ and productive members, both in the church and in the community. Please pray for this important ministry and consider how you can support its progress.
