The rehabilitation center in Berozi Solonets, Russia (near Zhigulovsk), continues to produce life-changing results in the lives of the men who reside there. Alexander Kudrin, SMS missionary and pastor of the Revival Baptist Church in Zhigulovsk, explains that many of the men not only repent of their sins and remove the addictions from their lives completely but also join the church and become active members in various ministries.
There are now thirteen men residing in the center. In April Slavic Missionary Service provided the men with some necessary items for the center including bowls, glass mugs, spoons and a large kettle pot with lid. Personal items were also purchased for the men including razors, shaving cream, aftershave, toothbrushes, toothpaste and towels.
Pastor Kudrin and the leadership of the church desire to implement a program for women in this region who are "imprisoned" in alcohol and drug addiction. But there is no building to accommodate them. Therefore, pray that funds can be raised through SMS in order to expand this ministry by building a residence for women.
