Alex Leonovich, the director of Slavic Missionary Service, has entered into the presence of the Lord on March 13, 2013. He is now at rest reunited with his wife, Babs, and rejoicing in the presence of His Savior, Jesus Christ.
Alex not only preached with his words, but even more so with his actions. Alex would always tell you that he is ready to be with the Lord at any time, and God truly helped Alex to fulfill his ultimate desire: "When it's time for the Lord to take me home, I want to go with my boots still on!"

Having an opportunity to meet with Alex Leonovich, the director of Slavic Missionary Service was truly a tremendous blessing! This man, who has lived a long life of many experiences and many difficulties, did not cease to repeat the words of the Apostle Paul to us: "For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain" (Philippians 1:21).

Difficulties continue in the city of Bendery, Moldova. Many people are forced to travel abroad searching for jobs. More and more pastors have also departed, and churches do not have qualified leadership. But the Lord continues to bless Grace Church.
