One of the most important ministries of the church is the Sunday school department. Reaching the next generation with the good news of salvation is a task which can be difficult if one does not have the right resources. Visuals aids are extremely important when teaching children or young people.
Through Slavic Missionary Service, Basilo and Lia Sapoval (Slavic immigrants from South America) were able to send a set of flannel graph recently to relatives in Buenos Aires, Argentina to assist the children's Sunday school ministry. Clara Rozkiewicz, a sister of Lia, was extremely grateful for this effective tool for the church. When using these visual aids, the stories of the Bible come "alive" for the children to see and experience.
Connecting with Slavic immigrants that reside in South America has always been a goal of SMS. Pray that Slavic Missionary Service will still have opportunities to assist with the Slavic churches in Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay and other countries of South America.
