It is extremely important for the "bridges" of missionary endeavors to be well maintained, as churches and Christian organizations in the Untied States help one another with spiritual and financial support in foreign countries. Therefore, the International Field Representatives of SMS will be busy ministering overseas with the national missionaries this month.
Leon Chechowich plans to teach English as a Second Language both in Minsk, Belarus and Gomel, Belarus for the month of June. He will also meet with all of the SMS workers in the Minsk office for fellowship and prayer. Leon will discuss with Christian leaders possibilities of future opportunities of ministry in the country of Belarus.
Rob Zapotoski will begin his ministry in Western Ukraine. He will visit SMS missionaries in Lvov, Lutsk, Brodie and Roshchishe. Reports will be gathered concerning present events, as well as future scheduled opportunities. Then he will meet Leon Chechowich in Gomel, Belarus to assist in the classes of English as a Second Language. After uniting with some of the missionaries of Belarus for ministry, Rob will then travel to Russia at the end of July to visit SMS missionaries in Oryol, Bryansk and Zhugalevsk.
Intercede on behalf of these two international coordinators of SMS that the Lord will help them to be holy, healthy and happy in their journeys and Christian ministries. May God give them wisdom as they direct the national missionaries of SMS to fulfill the Great Commission.
