When the Apostle Paul wrote to the church in Colosse, he expressed delight concerning their progress in the Christian walk of faith.

He also exhorted the believers to prevent wrong beliefs from infiltrating the church in order that Christ may have the preeminence in every aspect of life. "It is the Lord Christ whom you serve" (Colossians 3:24).

Finally, Paul mentions five men who have been an encouragement to him, while he sits in prison awaiting judgment...

Small group Bible studies have become very popular and important in the ministry of the church throughout the Slavic countries.

There is more freedom to interact in such a setting. Questions can be asked and discussions can become more detailed concerning Christian doctrine and duty.

Therefore, many of the SMS workers are leading or organizing small group studies in their churches or in someone's home in their community. These groups can accommodate the specific needs represented by those people who participate...

Worship services have started in the new building of the First Baptist Church of Polotsk, Belarus. The new auditorium is not quite finished, but Pastor Boris Valshonok (SMS missionary) and the congregation of eighty members praise God for this spacious place to gather for church services and special events.

They are extremely excited, because there is room now for the choir to join their voices together in the services to honor and glorify the Lord Jesus Christ. In addition, the church has invited other choirs to share their gifts of ministry for special holidays and conferences...
